Lollapalooza celebrating 25 years in 2016

4 day weekend WOOHOO!

Lollapallooza looks to be on good terms with the city still even though the parks get destroyed by the crowds each year. They are coming back in 2016 to celebrate their 25th anniversary, and will be adding an extra day…… Thursday! Phew, glad it wasn’t a Monday. Prices will be going up unfortunately with the extra day.

Four-day General Admission tickets will be available for $335 (including fees) and single day General Admission tickets will be available for $120 (including fees) beginning Spring 2016.

Now there were some great headliners last year like The Weeknd and Metallica; I hope they go all out this year and add some more well known Rock N Roll bands. It would be cool to see the Eagles of Death Metal, Tool, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. If you haven’t been to this fest at all, this year is the time to do it. There are also VIP tickets for this fest if you are ‘old’ and can’t hang with the real crowd. Either way, cancel your vacation to Cuba and plan to rock out at the lakefront in Chicago!
