Just another brick in the wall


Lego will cut around 1,400 jobs by the end of this year, about 8% of its workforce. The Danish toymaker is suffering from declining demand for its plastic bricks in developed markets; strong growth in China has not filled the gap. Last month Lego replaced its chief executive after only eight months. Now it must pick up the pieces. BBC has the scoop on the head-cutting move.
