Chicago’s Michelin Stars
Yesterday the extremely influential Michelin restaurant guide released their 2016 ratings for the best eateries in Chicago. If you follow foodie culture you probably know that getting a star in the Michelin guide is a pretty big deal and it makes mere mortal Chefs instant rock stars.
Topping out at 3 stars, is the world renown (and pricey) Alinea in Lincoln Park headed by Grant Achatz and West Loop favorite, Curtis Duffy’s Grace. At the 2 star level Acadia in Old Town which makes the biggest jump on the list, 42 Grams in Andersonville and Sixteen in River North. Rounding up the list at 1 star are 17 other eating establishments such as Rick Bayless’s Topolobampo, Blackbird, Moto, Duseks (Board & Bar) and Parachute.
