A very happy National Beer Day from your friends at Page Of Man. More importantly, salud, slainte and na zdrowie!
What better way to celebrate than with one of the Midwest’s most coveted, annual releases, Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout. This fine wine of a imperial coffee stout hits the market by storm every late March/early April. Should you be so lucky to grasp ahold of a 12oz bottle, your palate will repay you for your efforts. Strong, bold notes of coffee and dark chocolate on the aroma, an easygoing mid level and a finish you won’t forget…smoother than a baby’s bottom! The silk like conclusion rivals the best of Goose Island’s Bourbon County Stout and has a commendable POM score of 4.5 out of 5.0. I just wish I tasted more of a bourbon note but won’t complain at 11+%!
Ring in this Spring season with a sud that is certain to excite the beer geek in all of us. If you’re seeking a big beer but can’t handle the alcoholic warmth, this one is for you. Cheers!
