Sierra Nevada is one of the pioneer breweries who created the American pale ale. Refreshing with a balanced amount of west coast style hop bitterness and flavor. Their stable mostly consists of hop forward IPAs but that is not what we’re here to discuss today.
Nooner is a pilsner, with some California character. Session IPAs have been a recent craze, but we think they taste like hop water. Pilsners were the original session brew. Golden straw in color, noble hops, light body with a crisp finish on the palate. The reason you don’t see as many today is because they require temperature controlled, cool fermentation along with lagering (cold aging for at least 4 weeks).
Now raise your glass and tip your cap to Sierra Nevada for brewing a refreshing beer that should satisfy all walks of life. Cheers!
